Our flagship bundle: the Softener + Carbon Filtration system treating every tap in the house, paired with the HW800 AlkaPro 7-Stage reverse osmosis at your kitchen sink. Two systems, one installation, one warranty.
Drinking-water stage: HW800 AlkaPro 7-Stage RO →
The Complete Home System is not a separate product. It is our two best-selling systems installed together in a single visit, covering the whole house and the drinking water tap at once.
Handles the two things wrong with most city water in one unit: hardness and chlorine. Installed where the main line enters the house, so every tap, shower and appliance runs on treated water.
See the system →Tankless reverse osmosis at the kitchen sink, 800 gallons per day with alkaline remineralization. Softening does not remove dissolved contaminants — this is the stage that does.
See the system →Buying them together is the point. One crew, one visit, one warranty, and the RO is plumbed downstream of the softener so its membrane is not fighting hardness it was never meant to handle.

The best way to get an accurate quote is the free in-home water test — we assess your hardness, contaminant levels, and plumbing before recommending anything. All quotes include equipment, professional installation, and a lifetime warranty on the system plus 1 year on installation labor. There are no separate charges for the site visit, water test, or follow-up calls. Call (984) 206-3774 or schedule online for a no-obligation consultation.
It combines three technologies in one installation: a whole-house carbon pre-filter that removes chlorine and disinfection byproducts from every tap, an ion exchange water softener for hard well water or harder municipal supplies, and a reverse osmosis drinking water system under the kitchen sink. The RO stage removes PFAS, lead, nitrates, fluoride, and anything else that gets through the whole-house filter. Together, they address every major contaminant the EWG has detected in Raleigh's municipal water supply.
Most complete system installs in Raleigh-area homes take 4–6 hours from start to finish. Elvis does every installation himself — there's no subcontracting. We start at the main water entry point for the whole-house components and finish at the kitchen sink for the RO faucet. We protect your floors, clean up completely, and walk you through the system before we leave. Same-week installation is typically available.
It depends on what you're trying to solve. If hard water is your only concern — scale on fixtures, dry skin, spots on dishes — a softener alone handles it. But a softener doesn't remove Raleigh's chlorine, disinfection byproducts (which the EWG found at up to 332× health guidelines), or PFAS. If you want clean, safe water for drinking and cooking on top of soft water for your plumbing and appliances, the complete system makes sense. During the free water test, Elvis will test specifically for hardness, chlorine, and any other relevant contaminants and recommend only what your home actually needs.
The water softener needs salt added to the brine tank every 6–8 weeks on average — a 40-lb bag of pellet salt is enough for most households. The RO filters need changing every 6–12 months for stages 1–3, with the membrane lasting 2–3 years. The whole-house carbon media typically lasts 5–7 years before needing replacement. We include a filter schedule with every installation and offer lifetime phone support — if you have questions about maintenance, call us anytime.
